I'm not sure what more I should say. some people get upset over "spoilers". I would like THQ Nordic to contact me about using my idea.

Give me some feedback, please. Let me know what you think about my ideas so far and what else about my idea you'd like to know.

Another idea for this game would be for one of the bosses. Kay and Tay are chasing an enemy in an underground cavern with rivers of lava. The enemy might be another rat alchemist and as he is being chased, he comes to a pond filled with a silvery liquid. This is actually a mixture of various metal fillings and oil/mercury. The enemy then dumps a bunch of random scrap metals and magnets of various sizes and shapes and strengths into the silvery liquid. As the magnets sink through the metallic liquid, they induce electric currents and magnetic fields, causing the metallic liquid to start moving and acting alive and, because of the enclosed space, seems to start attacking you. ultimately, you have to use your electrical "magic" to attack it using magnetic fields made by your focused static electricity to get all of it to burn up in the lava or from your attacks.

After you beat this metallic goop, you keep some of it to use as a weapon by using it with your static electric "magic".

This is just a basic overview of this part. There is much more to it than just this.

Let me know what you think.

I would also like to mention that the combat system involves a combination of martial arts and gymnastics. This will allow you to employ geometry and physics to produce some very interesting and spectacular moves and allow you to come up with your own moves so you can discover new ways to cause more damage and other effects to make you feel more like a part of the game.

I want this game to allow the player to be able to use their own traits in game, such as being good at make plans and strategies or being stealthy or having quick reflexes or creative problem solving, etc...

WOW!!! Over 1,700 views in a couple of months. It would seem that a legend of kay sequel is a popular idea. I'm waiting for you to contact me, THQ-Nordic.

Anyways, I would also make it so that bosses are someone that you have a fight with, like you would against an opponent in a fighting game, instead of some big monster you try to defeat by repeatedly hitting with your weapon while it sits there and fires an attack at you occasionally.

what makes you think many of the views of this thread are because of bots? there are many threads that have relatively few views. why wouldn't the bots be viewing those threads as often as mine? I'm hopeful that maybe my idea is a good idea or at least there are lots of people looking for a sequel to legend of kay.

Just that your thread is newer. Didn't want you to get your hopes up over nothing. But your interpretation could be just as valid, I honestly don't know.

Another thing that could be done in this game is to have some levels or parts of levels or series of levels where Kay and Tay are separated, either forced apart by some event and you'll have to fight on you're own for a bit or they have to split up to accomplish a goal. In single player mode, you'd play both as both Kay and Tay, one after the other, in these split up parts. In co-op mode, the player playing as Kay would do Kay's part and then the second player would do Tay's part.

I wonder if Kay and Tay should start out with the advanced weapons I've described or if they should start out with simplified versions and get the advanced versions later. Kay could start out with his sword from the last game and Tay could start out with a bow staff with a spear head on one end and a metal ball on the other end.

I'm thinking that they'll be separated from these weapons when they get knocked off of a ship they're sailing on with Su Ling and her friend. Kay and Tay then get washed up on the shores of some small island or isolated region that happens to have a prison colony of their enemy and they'll have to fight without their weapons using only physical combat.

Kay and Tay would start out not knowing where they where and from the shore they wash up on, they can't see the prison colony. They start out fighting wild animals that are trying to kill and eat them using just physical combat. As they do this they explore the area. They are eventually attacked by enemy troops and are led into the prison camp where they have to fight against enemy soldiers who have been imprisoned for defying their leader or something as part of a battle where prisoners could gain their freedom by winning. The idea is that Kay and Tay would die here without their weapons but using some scrap materials, Kay and Tay each make a weapon that consists of three large rings linked together like the links on a chain. Apart from being and unusual weapon, these weapons they make would help them to become better with their electrical magic by harnessing the static electricity that builds up in their fur and the electrons from the matter around and when used together with Kay and Tay's physical combat skills, they can do some very impressive things with their "magic".

Kay and Tay would eventually escape and get back with the others and their previous weapons that they would transform at some point with their "magic" into the more advanced weapons I described earlier in this thread.

So, would anyone care to say what you think of my idea so far?
